Do you like an old style living room whether modern one? An old style (classic or traditional) have an advantages than a modern. Just remember when we used the terracotta! It's beautiful, right? it gives your feet in different touch better than ceramic or wooden flooring. Let's talk about why i read this kind of article; My ideas, in 2017, the terracotta style became popular again. That's a good news for us who loved the old style.
The brown colored in terracotta feels so comfortable; it will be cover by area rug or not, it's still looks so pretty. In modern interior like today, everything change into some modern-looking, like sectional sofa, glass coffee table. Now, let's change the design of your modern living room into an old one.
The terracotta suit in most of furniture, just try to add varnished wooden coffee table, and white Loveseat for example. Place some colorful cushion in your lovely sofa, and set sofa table behind it. Furthermore, hung an accent mirror in wooden finishing too, don't forget to build large arch door with glass tile (in wooden finishing too? of course!).
There are a lot of furniture you can set, like a wooden TV stand, modern fireplace, and ottoman, if you want to create layout that emphasizing a focal point. Beautiful, right? Cozy and warmth living room; oh, if you love to exposed a timber ceiling, just do it. Don't worry, it won't look too traditional, except you want a rustic and brick style your wall, it would be okay. Try to use plain white colored wall mix with blue shade for contemporary style; you still get a beautiful old and modern style, simple, right?.
In other word, bold painting like yellow, should be create entire living room into more warm scene. It always look more beautiful, if you add a wooden finishing, so, bought classic piano in wooden finishing, place in the corner. Add a lighting, such as chandelier in center room, you can add a lamp shade decor, if you pick end table. Don't think inside the box, just try to mix everything you have!.
